We recruit new representatives to the Control Committee (KK). The position is open to current and former students, and externals. There is no requirement for previous experience, but it is an advantage to have some experience about the organization. Necessary training will be provided.

The Control Committee is a national unit and is established on all four campuses.

We work on behalf of the General Assembly and the National Meeting, and our main task is to ensure that BISO’s statutes, local laws and the Code of Conduct are always complied with. The control committee’s unanimous interpretation of the statutes has binding effect, unless the National Meeting decides otherwise by a qualified majority.

Furthermore, KK also works to ensure that recruitment and election processes in BISO are carried out in accordance with current guidelines. As a representative of KK, you should be able to analyze sensitive matters in an objective manner and, not least, maintain confidentiality. You enjoy working in teams and are willing to learn.

For the year 2023, this position will receive a small financial compensastion.

Tasks:

– Represent the Control Committee externally to BISO

– Manage matters related to local laws, statutes, or the Code of Conduct

– Work with a national team

– Assist as a counting corps during General Assemblies and National Meetings
