BISO Invest
BISO Invest is responsible for investing on BISO’s behalf and managing their portfolio to ensure their liquidity. Their goal is to help BI students discover the world of finance through various channels: screening and valuation of potential future equity investments, but also meeting and expanding their network with various Nordic investment banks.
Risk Manager
The Risk Manager’s primary responsibility is to ensure that our investment decisions are as efficient as possible in terms of the risk we are taking. In a market environment full of contradictory indications are this role key in helping the Portfolio Manager to interpret those and their impact on our portfolio. Looking forward, one of our primary tasks is to ensure a collaborative environment with the other BISO teams, the industry, and the academia to make the activities related as interesting and relevant as possible.
The Risk Manager’s main responsibility is to review all the proposed instruments to approve or deny them. This process entails working closet with the Portfolio- and Research Manager. In addition, to make sure the portfolio complies with BISO Invest’s risk appetite (monitor positions sixes and exclusion). As well as report the PnL and Risk using R templates and Bloomberg data. It is important that the Risk Manager constantly monitors the markets of any development, coordinates with the rest of the board for different activities and provides training and guidance to the staff.

Personal traits
- Interested in investing and finance.
- You have a strong understanding of financial markets and economics.
- You are outgoing and have leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
- You have strong motivation and willingness to maximize BISO Invest´s full potential.
Requirements
- Preferable banking/financial markets working experience.
- Courses taken related to financial risk and asset pricing.
- Coding skills in R.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg.
