Through a student association, you can organize various events, such as class parties, small and large social gatherings, as well as company presentations relevant to your studies! A student association operates as a low-threshold offer for students, by students, providing a lot of freedom to pursue what you want.
The Manager of Data Science for Business is responsible for developing a strategy together with the board and ensuring the accomplishment of predefined goals. The Manager functions in a supportive, motivating role, helping other board members with their positions or assignments as needed. In cooperation with other board members, the Manager is responsible for maintaining an acceptable level of activity throughout the year (to include fulfilling sponsorship contractual events at a minimum). Further, the Manager serves as a liaison between BISO and the BI administration and is responsible for maintaining positive relations with these groups.
Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly meetings with all BISO Association Managers
- Ensure successful planning and execution of all academic and social events
- Plan meeting agendas and lead meetings with board members
- Follow up with board members on their position duties and arrange 1-1 meetings
- with board members as necessary to get updates on their duties and provide
- guidance as needed.
- Recruitment through HR BISO and ensure a good onboarding process
- Further, the candidate should be motivated to develop the association further by finding new approaches or solutions.
