Are you technically inclined and want to work with IT-related tasks in BISO?

The role is a 30% part-time position and is paid according to the standard salary rate for student assistants. We are primarily looking for a BI student who wants this as a job alongside their studies. The workplace is Oslo – Campus Nydalen if the candidate lives in the Oslo area, but the position is also open to applicants from other BI campuses. The workplace will primarily be the home office if a candidate from Bergen, Trondheim or Stavanger is employed in the role.

The General Manager in BISO has personnel responsibility for the position and the IT Manager has professional responsibility.

What you can learn from the position:

  • Administrative operation of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint: Learn how to manage users, groups and resources in the organization.
  • Azure: Gain insight into basic Azure management and cloud technologies we use.
  • Power Platform: Create and maintain automated workflows in Power Automate, and learn how to create interactive reports in Power BI.
  • Programming: Opportunity to develop programming skills if needed and interested, but is not a requirement.

Tasks:

  • Handle incoming inquiries: Be the first point of contact for technical questions and issues.
  • Development and maintenance of internal chatbot: Work with our internal chatbot in Power Platform.
  • Power BI reporting: Maintain and develop reports in Power BI.
  • Automation with Power Automate: Contribute to developing and maintaining automated solutions to streamline our work processes.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 users: Create, modify and manage user accounts and access.
  • SharePoint: Maintain and develop our SharePoint platform for better internal communication and document management.

In this role, it is an advantage that you are comfortable communicating orally and in writing in both Norwegian and English. The position is also open to international students.
