Do you want to work with HR in practice while contributing to a better student community? As an HR Advisor, you will have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real HR tasks such as recruitment, teambuilding, debrief conversations, conflict management, and advising leaders of the student association’s units. Many former HR Advisors say they have learned more from being part of the BISO HR team than from their studies alone. The experience you gain will be valuable whether you aim for a career in HR or aspire to a leadership role, as you will develop skills in expectation management, motivation, and strategic recruitment.
We are now looking for dedicated students who want to make a difference in the student community and contribute to wellbeing and structured HR processes.
How we work:
You will be part of an HR team of around 11 students at Campus Oslo. The HR team is organized with four team leaders who are responsible for following up on the lines, committees, projects, and staff functions. Each team consists of 3–4 students working closely together to support the BISO units in their work. With relevant experience from BISO or the HR Advisor role, you may apply internally to become an HR Team Leader – a role that also includes serving as an advisor to the campus leadership. Together, the HR teams work to be a visible and integrated part of the student association, collaborate closely with leaders across campus and units, and contribute to making BISO an inclusive and welcoming place for all members.

As HR Advisor is an elected position of trust, candidates will be nominated or recommended for the role. The election, including presentations and a Q&A session, will take place at the Academic assosiation Meeting on Thursday, August 28th in the afternoon/evening.
The term for the position is from September 1st, 2025 – August 31st, 2026.
