Do you want to lead the academic associations representing all full-time students at BI?
The Head of Academic Associations is responsible for all academic associations in BISO. You must ensure that the academic associations’ operations are in line with BISO’s overall statutes and local laws in Oslo, as well as support BISO’s strategic areas. This role requires a good overview at all times, and it is also important to be a guide and support player when needed. You are also responsible for arranging five associations manager meetings (LLM) each semester. The meetings must be in English, provided that not all participants speak Norwegian.
You will have a permanent contact person in the HR team who will be able to assist you with recruitment, team building and advice on personnel matters. You will have personnel responsibility for managers of academic associations and will recruit them with the help of HR. Your nearest leader will be the Campus President at BISO Oslo.
In this role, you will be part of the Campus Management in Oslo who work closely with the Operations Unit and HR. As campus management, you will work together to create and facilitate student activity on campus and to achieve BISO’s strategic goals.

Work assignments:
- Coordinating event dates and other relevant activity for the different academic associations
- Facilitate sparring and exchange of experience between associations managers via LLM
- Organize a meeting for social and ability-responsible people every semester, which will facilitate the exchange of experience and cooperation across the academic associations.
- Be responsible for planning and implementing BISO Oslo’s open day in March
- Act as a link between Management and the academic associations
- Continually further develop the organisation’s environment and culture, as well as work on the development of those involved
