A student association is perfect for those who want a social and engaging environment at BI! A student association brings together all three year groups from a specific program, creating a common meeting point. The possibilities are endless! Through a student association, you can organize various events, such as class parties, small and large social gatherings, as well as company presentations relevant to your studies! A student association operates as a low-threshold offer for students, by students, providing a lot of freedom to pursue what you want.
As the Financial Manager for the student association, you will have overall responsibility for the finances. This includes overseeing the association’s income and expenses, as well as maintaining good communication with the Financial Controller in the BISO Leadership. While experience with Excel, budgeting, and strong numerical skills is beneficial for applicants, it is not a requirement. There is a requirement to study the masters of Strategic Marketing Management if you want to apply for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Create a budget for each semester
- Keep track of and manage all financial transactions within the association
- Calculate event costs and make financial decisions for the association
- Assist the Business Relations Manager in generating income
Personal Qualities:
- Independent
- Structured and organized
- Familiarity with Excel
- Interest in finance
