Passionate about financial management and budgeting?
The financial controller’s main tasks are to manage the finances on their campus according to the budget, approve invoices, budget at the overall level for Campus Oslo. This role also processes support applications and distributes funds from BISO Oslo’s subsidy pot to the units, as well as follows up and provides feedback to the units in terms of accounting figures in relation to budget. You will work closely with the student assistants working on posting, billing and follow-up of customers and suppliers.
You will have close sparring partners in BISO’s Financial Advisor and Treasurer. You will have professional responsibility for all financial managers in Oslo units, answer questions from them, and arrange workshops for them at least once a semester, such as in advance of the autumn budgeting process. The unit BISO Invest will report to you and you will recruit its manager with the help of HR. You will report to the Campus President at BISO Oslo.
In this role, you will be part of the Campus Management at Oslo who work closely with BISO’s Board of Trustees, the Operations Unit and HR. As the Campus Management, you will work together to create and facilitate for student activity at campus and to reach achieve BISO’s strategic goals.

Tasks
– As Financial Controller for BISO Oslo, no days are the same. Among other things, you will:
– Monitor how revenues and costs develop through the year
– Follow up on financial managers being trained in BISO’s financial practices
– Ensure that units keep their budget and take action if needed Report continuously to the Management regarding the organization’s result and liquidity
