We are now recruiting delegates for BISO’s ordinary National Assembly, Friday 20 March – Sunday 22 March 2026. Delegates must be able to attend the assembly in person.
The National Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the student organization. Decision-making authority at the Assembly is vested in a gathering of delegates within BISO. Delegates to the Assembly will have voting rights on behalf of their campus. This includes voting rights for the election of national roles, amendments to statutes, and more.
Each campus will be represented at the Assembly by four (4) delegates from their respective campus boards. In addition, each campus is allocated one (1) student representative per eight hundred (800) full-time students enrolled at their campus. These are the student representatives we are recruiting here.
Oslo has 11 student representatives who will be elected by the General Assembly.
If you are interested in being a delegate for campus Oslo, you must nominate yourself (bench) at the General Assembly on Saturday, 1st of November 2025. If the election is not held at the GA, it will be moved to the next LLM.
All candidates will be given 1 minute to present their appeal and a maximum of 3 minutes for a Q&A session from the audience.
If you are unable to attend the General Assembly but still wish to run as a candidate, please contact hr.marita.oslo@biso.no
