We are now recruiting a Chair of the Board for the BI Student Organisation (BISO). The duration for this position is 01.07.2025 – 30.06.2027. It is not a requirement that you are an active student in order to take up the role. The position is remunerated.

The Board consists of the Chair of the Board who is elected by the National Meeting, four campus presidents elected by the general assemblies and four -4- external representatives, of which one representative is from BI and three are business representatives who are often BISO Alumni. The Chair of Board is elected for two years at a time and other board members are elected for one year at a time.
As Chair of the Board, you are responsible for planning and holding 6-8 board meetings annually in BISO, as well as preparing case papers and minutes from the meetings. Extraordinary board meetings are held digitally if necessary. The Chair of the Board also has dialogue with the following roles also outside of board meetings: General Manager, committee leaders and the four campus presidents. The role has personnel responsibility for the HR & Accounting Manager.
As a person, you are expected to be structured, reflective and professionally skilled. As the Chair, you must be able to show leadership and think in broad terms. It is a big plus if you have held central positions in BISO in the past, such as i.e. Campus Management, the Administration, Operations Unit or BISO’s Board of Trustees. Motivation for the position, familiarity with BISO and experience from other management roles or positions are highly emphasized. In addition, emphasis is placed on personal suitability and relevant experience.
