Do you want to lead BISO’s Branding Committee and have a say in how the organization’s products and services are marketed?
The Branding Committee consists of a minimum of -5 and no more than -8 members. The duration of the Committee Leader position is from 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026, and the position is compensated.
The Branding Committee’s purpose is to create a promotion strategy to communicate BISO offers to new and active students. The committee is tasked with creating and modifying a national action plan for brand building in accordance with the strategy. They will create marketing campaigns as well as PR, marketing, and communication guidelines that will be followed by the entire organization.
The Committee Leader is in charge of organizing the committee’s work and convening regular committee meetings, which must take place at least once a quarter. For the Committee Leader position, you must be a BI student and a BISO member when you apply, and you can come from any BI campus.
Four seats on the committee have been reserved for the Heads of Marketing & PR/ Head of Content & Marketing from the four campuses. Other committee members, who do not have to be active students, can be recruited by the Committee Leader in collaboration with HR.
The Committee Leader is responsible for ensuring continuous effective and good communication with BISO’s Operations Unit and Board of Trustees. Furthermore, the Committee Leader must maintain close communication with the IT Manager. The Branding Committee reports to the BISO Board of Trustees and gathers feedback from local BISO Media units.
In addition, the Committee Leader is in charge of all national communication channels. These include BISO website (biso.no), LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. The information released through these channels must adhere to BISO’s communication guidelines, and the committee and the BISO board decide what content should be released.
Furthermore, the Committee Leader is expected to represent all four campuses fairly and to shift the focus away from his campus and toward a national collaboration. Integrity and independence are required, and it is expected that you will be able to work in a structured and targeted manner in accordance with BISO’s strategy. You must be decisive and capable of critically reflecting on your own and others’ actions.
Motivation for the position, knowledge of BISO, and previous management or position experience are all highly valued. Furthermore, personal suitability and relevant experience from the field are emphasized.

Interviews will be conducted digitally by two members of the BISO HR team, who will then nominate a candidate for the position, and elections will take place at the National Meeting in Trondheim on 22. – 23. March. It is possible to attend the meeting digitally in order to give a speech and answer questions.
