BISO Event Committee is an English-speaking staff function directly under the BISO Management with the objective to support the management in arranging social events for all BI students at Campus Oslo. Everyone in the BISO Event Committee must be fluent in English and be comfortable to run meetings in English. Event is most known for hosting Free Student Cinema showings with ODEON Storo, free lunches at BISO land, and various events at Kroa, like Halloween-parties and Women’s Day celebrations.
Manager
The Manager of BISO Event Committee has the overall responsibility of its team members and the planning and execution of all events for BISO. The larger purpose of a Manager is to be a facilitator for BISO Event Committee and their member, arrange meetings, make agendas, and prioritize and delegate work. Moreover, the Manager is responsible for all communication from the BISO Event Committee and to the BISO Management. Candidates who are engaged in the student environment and have previous leadership/project management/coordination experience are encouraged to apply. The Manager reports directly to the Head of Operation. The Manager must be fluent in Norwegian, both written and oral, in addition to English.
Tasks
- Responsible for the team.
- Communication and coordination within BISO Event Committee and external parties.
- Organizes and delegate tasks to the team.
- Holding board meetings, and holding and attending events.
