The nominations for the positions to be elected at BISO’s National Meeting on 20–22 March 2026 are now ready. The recruitment process was carried out between 10 February and 12 March, and all applicants were interviewed digitally. In total, there were 11 candidates for six positions.
The following candidates have been nominated:
- Academic & Political Coordinator: Sindre Aamodt
- Branding Committee Leader: Iselin Fjellgaard
- Investment Committee Leader: Nathaniel Donovan
- Student Representative to BI’s Board of Trustees: Sebastian Reitan
There are currently no nominated candidates for the following positions:
- General Manager
- Control Committee Manager
HR states that the candidates have been assessed based on motivation, experience, understanding of the role, and suitability, and the Control Committee has no critical remarks regarding the process. At the same time, HR notes that this year’s nomination process has taken place in parallel with proposed organizational changes to national roles, which may create uncertainty regarding certain positions and mandates ahead of the National Meeting.
It is still possible to run from the floor. Candidates who wish to announce their candidacy in advance must notify hr@biso.no by Friday, 20 March at 10:00. This also applies to candidates who wish to give their speech digitally. Each candidate will be given up to 3 minutes for their election speech, followed by a 7-minute question round.
