From March 20–22, BISO will gather for the National Meeting 2026 at BI Oslo. The National Meeting is BISO’s highest governing body and sets the strategic direction for the year ahead.
The event begins with a pre-meeting on Friday, March 20 at 18:00, and concludes no earlier than Sunday, March 22 at 17:30. All delegates and required participants are expected to attend the full duration.
The agenda includes:
- Annual reports from the Operations Unit, forums and committees
- Annual Accounts 2025 and financial report
- Budget frame 2027
- Political and Academic Target Documents
- Determination of membership fee
- Proposed amendments to the statutes
- Elections to key positions and national representations
The meeting is open to all BISO members. Voting rights are exercised by elected delegates in accordance with the statutes.
Key deadlines:
- Submission of cases and statute amendments: March 6, 2026
- Distribution of meeting documents: March 11, 2026
- Publication of nomination list: March 17, 2026
All participants must register. Practical details regarding travel, accommodation and reimbursements have been distributed by email.
