Are you passionate about Formula 1 and enjoy bringing people together? F1 Club is looking for a new Event Manager who wants to help create fun, social, and memorable experiences for both Norwegian and international students.
As Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating social events for the F1 Club throughout the year. This includes our regular F1 race watch parties, as well as larger social events and activities that bring members together outside of race weekends.
Your tasks will include planning events, booking premises when necessary, coordinating food and other practical arrangements, and making sure everything runs smoothly before and during each event. You will work closely with the F1 Manager, Financial Manager, and other board members to develop ideas and ensure that events stay within budget.
You will also have the opportunity to come up with creative ideas for new activities and ways to make the club more engaging and inclusive. Since many of our members are international students, it is important that you enjoy creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and can connect with others through a shared interest in Formula 1.
As Event Manager, you should be organized, reliable, and comfortable taking responsibility. The position requires good communication skills, teamwork, creativity, and the ability to stay calm and solution-oriented when things do not go according to plan. Some periods, particularly around larger events or busy race weekends, may require you to work more intensively.
