BI International Student Association (BIISA) is a student-led organization at BI Norwegian Business School dedicated to helping international students integrate and connect through social activities and networking events. We are now looking for an energetic and organized Event Manager to plan and execute events that bring students together and strengthen our community!
About the Role
As Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing BIISA’s social and cultural events. You will have the opportunity to develop event management skills, work with a diverse team, and make a lasting impact on international students’ experiences at BI. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working in a dynamic environment and enjoys bringing people together!
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate social, cultural, and networking events for international students
- Oversee event logistics, including venues, catering, entertainment, and budgets
- Collaborate with the BIISA team and external partners to ensure successful events
- Promote events in coordination with the PR & Communications Manager
- Engage with students to understand their interests and tailor events accordingly
- Ensure all events are inclusive and foster a welcoming atmosphere
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience in event planning or project management (preferred but not required)
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys planning events
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Is creative and enjoys coming up with new event ideas
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is proactive and takes initiative
