The PR and Communications manager is responsible for developing and
executing a comprehensive communications strategy to enhance the visibility
and reputation of the university’s football society. This role involves managing
social media platforms, creating engaging content, and implementing marketing
initiatives to attract new members and foster a strong community.
Key Responsibilities:
● Social Media Management:
○ Oversee and manage the society’s social media channels
(Instagram, Linked-in).
○ Create and curate engaging content, including photos, videos, and
written posts.
○ Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media
platforms.
● Marketing and Promotions:
○ Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns to promote
the society and its events.
○ Collaborate with other university organizations and clubs to
cross-promote events.
● Public Relations:
○ Build and maintain relationships with relevant Biso groups for
potential collaborations in the future.
Qualifications:
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong understanding of social media platforms.
● Experience in content creation.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Passion for football and a strong interest in building a vibrant community.
