As financial manager, you are responsible for following up on all the financial matters that the society may have. It is the financial officer’s task to draw up a budget for the whole year, and to ensure that the board has enough funds to carry out the events it wants. It is also the financial manager’s responsibility to apply for support for the various events.
You would also be responsible for following up transactions, the costs that come up, as well as keeping an account throughout the year and ensuring that it is complied with the budget that has been set. As a deputy manager, you must work closely with the manager so that you can assist when the manager is not available.
