Macro Society is a social and academic committee in BI Student Organization, designed for students passionate about macroeconomics who wish to explore global and national economic contexts in depth.
We foster an inclusive community that combines academic discussions with social activities to create a comprehensive and engaging student experience.
Qualifications:
- An interest in macroeconomics and economic politics is desireble
- Highly organized with strong planning, organizational, and delegation skills, and the ability to follow through on tasks
- Humble, patient, and receptive to feedback and suggestions
- Capable of being firm and assertive when necessary
- Fluent in both Norwegian and English (as the committee includes both Norwegian and international members)
- Actively engaged in student life at BI Oslo
Responsibilities:
- Maintain oversight and control, assisting as needed, especially when other board positions are vacant
- Develop an annual activity plan and budget for the committee in collaboration with the Financial Manager
- Organize and lead board meetings for Makroutvalget
- Monitor the various tasks and activities undertaken by other board members and track their progress
- Represent Makroutvalget at the booth during Recruitment Day and Open Day
- Attend ULM meetings and the General Assembly
- Participate in Makroutvalget events
- Maintain close communication with BISO and Head of Societies
