The BISO Event Committee is an English-speaking staff function directly under the BISO Management with the aim of supporting the management in arranging social events for all BI students on Campus Oslo. The BISO Event Committee is best known for organising a free student cinema at ODEON Storo, free lunches at BISO and various events at Kroa, such as Halloween parties and Women’s Day celebrations.
The Logistics Manager is extremely important for all events to run smoothly. Your tasks in arranging events in collaboration with the Event Manager and the rest of the team. You will be responsible for contact with customers, contact locations/premises for various events, ensure that the equipment needed is set up for the various events, etc. You must be solution-oriented and want to create memorable student experiences for all students on campus. You will work closely with the Event Manager to coordinate all events for BISO.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for ensuring that all events are coordinated with each other.
• Responsible for timetable and ticket sales.
• Overall responsibility for the events.
• Participate in board meetings and other events.
Personal characteristics
• Has an interest in structure, organisation and coordination.
• Has good communication skills and is good at multitasking.
• Outgoing and likes to talk to people.
