The BISO Event Committee is an English-speaking staff function directly under the BISO Management with the aim of supporting the management in arranging social events for all BI students on Campus Oslo. The BISO Event Committee is best known for organising a free student cinema at ODEON Storo, free lunches at BISO and various events at Kroa, such as Halloween parties and Women’s Day celebrations.
The Financial Manager is responsible for managing the finances for all events in BISO Event Committee, including creating a budget and ensuring that the team stays within the budget. The Financial Manager is also responsible for finding financing opportunities, for example Bi’s integration fund, and for applying for these together with the Manager. The Financial Manager reports directly to the Manager of the BISO Event Committee and to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for budgeting and accounting.
• Take care of financial planning.
• Track expenses and submit reimbursements.
• Participate in board meetings and other events.
