BISO Invest is responsible for investing on BISO’s behalf and managing their portfolio to ensure their liquidity. Their goal is to help BI students discover the world of finance through various channels: screening and valuation of potential future equity investments, but also meeting and expanding their network with various Nordic investment banks.

The Manager has the overall responsibility for the staff function’s operations. The other board members will report to the Manager, and the Manager will make sure that the board as well as the analysts reach their goals and follow BISO Invest’s strategy we all agree on. The Manager also has the overall responsibility for communication and coordination within and outside the group with external parties.

It is also the Manager’s responsibility to organize workshops and board meetings which gives a creative approach to developing a short- and long-term related strategy. This enables each position to exploit its full potential and make BISO Invest a welcoming and successful staff function. 

Tasks

  • Responsible for the team.
  • Communication and coordination within BISO Invest and external parties.
  • Organizes and delegate tasks to the team. 
  • Holding board meetings and holding and attending events. 

Personal traits

  • Interested in investing and finance.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and economics.
  • You are outgoing, like to lead people and have leadership skills.
  • Skilled in strategy and highly structured.
  • You have strong motivation and willingness to maximize BISO Invest´s full potential.

Requirements

  • You are in the 3rd year of bachelor’s in finance or 1st year of Master in Finance or Quantitative Finance; Relevant work or internship experience can compensate for a non-financial degree.
  • An advantage is if you are or were a part of BISO Invest in the past.
